Change Orders help

Does the customer need a RelayStack or Jobber account?

No. The customer opens the private review link supplied by the business. Keep that link private.

Is the electronic signature retained?

Yes. The signature is retained with the exact revision and customer decision. It is available through protected evidence access.

What evidence is stored with an approval?

The exact scope and amount, revision, customer name, signature, decision and time, available delivery details, and captured connection/browser information are retained. The customer receipt shows the agreement and signature without private audit details.

Can an issued Change Order be edited?

No. Issue a corrected revision instead. The original scope, amount and decision evidence remain preserved.

How do corrections work?

Open Change Order history, choose Create corrected revision for the current revision, enter a correction reason and issue the new revision. The customer must review and decide on the new terms. Each corrected revision is new work and requires current access.

What happens to the original revision?

It remains in the revision history with its original evidence. Its customer link is marked superseded. Voiding also preserves the record while preventing further customer action.

Can a customer decline?

Yes. The customer chooses Decline, enters their name and signs. The decline is recorded and a decision note is queued for Jobber. A decline does not satisfy the first-approval billing milestone.

Can the customer receive a receipt?

Select Email me a receipt before approving to request email delivery when a receipt destination is available. After approval, the customer can view and print the receipt or save it as a PDF. Contact the business if the private link is no longer available.

What is written back to Jobber?

RelayStack queues notes for issuance, the customer approval or decline, and a superseded revision. Jobber receives the decision summary; detailed evidence and signatures remain in RelayStack.

Can I retrieve documentation later?

While connected, open Change Order history in your workspace, then the revision evidence and signature. For other document requests, contact RelayStack support with your business and Change Order reference. Retrieval remains subject to verification and applicable access rules.

What happens after I cancel RelayStack?

Cancellation ends paid eligibility at the paid period end. New Change Orders, including corrected revisions, are restricted once access ends. Previously admitted work can finish under its existing access rules; cancellation does not erase or alter finalized agreements.

How long are records retained?

Finalized Change Order evidence is retained under RelayStack’s applicable records-retention policy. Retrieval and deletion notices will follow the approved policy once those periods are finalized. No final retention period or deletion date is promised here.

When does billing start?

No charge occurs before your first successfully approved customer change request. Your verified billing owner must then agree to the displayed recurring offer and confirm hosted Checkout. Drafting, issuing, opening or declining a request does not qualify. Approval never charges you automatically.

How do I update payment details?

Your designated billing owner opens Company billing and chooses Manage billing.

What happens after failed payment?

A failed renewal has three days of grace after verified paid coverage ends. Retries do not restart grace. New issuance is restricted afterward. Verified payment recovery restores commercial eligibility only when connection, security and operator restrictions also permit access.

How do I cancel?

Open Company billing, then Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period.

Can I reconnect?

Reconnect through Jobber to open a current workspace. Reconnection does not revive customer links issued under a disconnected connection or automatically restore billing authority. Contact support for earlier records.

Who can manage billing?

Only the designated billing owner verified for this business. A Jobber login alone is not billing authority. Enter the one-time code supplied through your verified onboarding contact.

How do I disconnect or contact support?

Disconnect the app through Jobber. Existing connection-based capabilities will stop working. For assistance or document requests, use the RelayStack contact page or your onboarding contact; do not send private links or passwords.
